TANK INTEGRITY INSPECTIONS
CASE STUDY
In 2014, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) implemented regulations requiring Tank Integrity Inspections on all ASTs 500 gallon or more as part of the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) guidelines.
Environmental Services Group, Inc. (ESGI) will perform Tank Inspections associated with SPCC requirements according to Steel Tank Institute (STI) guidelines by a certified field inspector to determine “fit for use.” Inspections to include tank and all piping and associated equipment. A follow-up narrative report and results of testing will be provided to the facility by ESGI for use with SPCC regulatory requirements. Review of current SPCC plan will also be conducted, as well as site SPCC inspection during on-site time to determine regulatory compliance. Review and inspection results will be provided to facility.
